A Black Owned Business Where The Food Is Really Great; Welcome To Bait πŸ

Hey ya’ll! It’s been a minute huh? In my Varnell Hill voice… lol

I’ve been promoting so many food spots on my Instagram reels, and I figured it was time to update my blog as well. So I have been going around to the local Black owned restaurants/businesses here in STL and I wanted to share some goodies with you all! Up first, is Bait . I have been wanting to come here for awhile so the girls and I recently dined in for a girls night. It’s super cute inside with the dim lighting and intimate (yet socially distanced ☝🏾) seating. Here is all that we ordered.

Let’s get into these drinks shall we? πŸ₯ƒπŸΈ Candace, Carmen, and I ordered the Bourbon and Blood. It is made with Bourbon, Blood Orange Liqueur, Sweet Vermouth and Orange Bitters. Our drinks were really good and Franny ordered the Lindell Martini (not pictured) and she also really liked it.

For appetizers I ordered the Lobster Fries, Carmen had the Duck Rangoon and Candace had the Crab Cake.

For the entrΓ©es, I ordered the Alligator Tacos, Franny and Carmen ordered the Stuffed Lobster Linguine and Candace ordered the Salmon. Ya’ll…this food though?! OMG it was SO good!

Not only is the food at Bait really good but so was the hospitality. Our waitress Toya was super nice, and the staff was very attentive and polite. We really just had a great experience overrall and I highly recommend this place for anyone who hasn’t been here yet. I give Bait a 10 out of 10 and we will most definitely be back to try some other items on their menu.

I have a lot more food spots to tell you about later so make sure you stay tuned!

Until next time loves…XO

Erica Leigh
