Hey everyone and welcome back! I have been getting so many comments from people saying that I needed to try out The House Of Jollof and recently my friend Candace and I went to go see what all the hype was about. The House Of Jollof opened during the pandemic last year and they serve authentic Ghanaian Jollof rice and other West African dishes. I have to say that ya’ll were right and the food definitely lives up to the hype. The food here is BOMB! Not only did they have dope Afro-beats playlist playing but literally everything we ate was

Now let’s get into this food shall we? Here is the menu and everything that we ordered.

I got the large order of the Jollof Rice with the Cheese Steak (it’s just like a Philly Cheese Steak) and I got it in spicy. They put the spicy sauce on the side and I also ordered a side of plantains and they were cooked to perfection! Ya’ll… 😩🙌🏽😋

Candace also ordered the exact same thing that I did but she got chicken with hers instead and she got a side of their spicy beef as well. She loved her meal just as much as I did and we both had plenty of leftovers to take home that we demolished later on that evening. lol

This was our first time having Jollof Rice and I had to ask myself…girl, what took you so long to try this? lol Better late than never though right? We will absolutely be back to The House Of Jollof again and if you have never tried it then you should definitely check them out. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
