Come In & Get Fed At The Train Shed πŸš‚

Hey everyone and welcome back! My girls and I are always trying to find new food spots to try here in STL and recently we visited The Train Shed at Union Station. If you’re local, then you know that the entire Union Station was completely remolded a few years ago and we now have a few new restaurants and some fun attractions. Not only does it look good on the inside but the food at The Train Shed is also bomb! Here is everything that we ordered.

So I started off with the ribs (no longer on the menu) and chorizo nachos. The ribs were made with brown sugar, soy, lime, sambal, sesame seeds, mint, miso pickle, pickled onion and they are cooked to absolute perfection. Listen..I tore those ribs UP. lol I’m bummed that they were taken off the menu but The Train Shed still has plenty of tasty appetizers for you to choose from.

These chorizo nachos though!?! Omg ya’ll they were soooo good! The chorizo is super flavorful and it adds a nice spicy kick to the nachos. Then you also have the pineapple chimichurri salsa that bring a nice sweetness to the dish and the tortilla chips are also covered with queso blanco, cotija cheese, pickled fresno and green onions. If you’re a lover of nachos like I am, then you should definitely try out these out.

For my entrΓ©e, I chose the Country Fried Steak with roasted mashed potatoes and it’s topped with sausage black pepper gravy. Ya’ll…this was soooo good! It was very filling and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly.

My friend Candace loved what she ordered. She got the New York strip which was topped with herb butter and it came with asparagus, carrots, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes.

Carmen also loved what she ordered and she got the smoked honey buffalo wings. They came with some Alabama white dipping sauce and she also got the Fancified Caesar salad with smoked salmon(not pictured but it is in my food video on my Instagram).

We ate SO good here and we all had leftovers to take home. Not only was the food amazing but so was the hospitality. We had about a 20 minute wait due to limited seating but trust me, the food is worth it. If you have never been to The Train Shed, definitely give them a try!

Until next time loves…XO

Erica Leigh
