Hey everyone! I hope all is well and that you’re staying safe and healthy. So I did another acrylic pour but I used a round canvas for the first time and I wanted to show ya’ll how it went. Before you press play, I wanted to let you know that I had all types of trials and tribulations creating this painting. lol
I literally had to redo it four (yeap you heard right…four) times before I was satisfied with the end result. I’m kind of a perfectionist when it comes to my art and I’m very picky over every single detail. Have you ever had a visual of something that you’re working on in your head and until you see it come to fruition EXACTLY the way you pictured it, you won’t be satisfied? That was me when it I created this.
I was getting so irritated because I had to keep starting over but the end result was well worth the wait. I was tired from standing up for so long, my back was hurting and whatnot but I wasn’t about to quit after I done came this far. In the words of Aaliyah, if at first you don’t succeed..
Ok now that I have given you a little backstory, you can go ahead and press play now lol. 😊
I absolutely love this painting and to seal everything in, I put a coat of resin on top of it. Even though it took me four tries to get it right, it was all worth it in the end. Painting has really helped me get through this pandemic and I hope your inner creativity can help you too! Remember to have fun and if you mess up, it’s all good. Just keep trying until you’re satisfied with the results. There is no right or wrong way to paint so just use your imagination and let your creative juices flow. Thanks again for tuning in!
Until next time loves…
