How To Create With Painter’s Tape πŸ–ŒπŸŽ¨

Hey everyone and welcome back! Still being stuck has its challenges but I have to admit, I am really enjoying being able to paint as much as I want. Painting is a great stress reliever for me and it’s so easy to create something different just by using the supplies you have at home.

If you were wanting to recreate a painting similar to this one, here is what you will need. Please don’t feel like you have to use the exact products that I used either. Use whatever works best for you and/or your budget.

Painters Tape (Target)

Canvas & Mod Podge (Micheals)

Paint brushes ( Walmart)

Paint ( Amazon)

Winsor & Newton Gloss Varnish (Blick)

Would you like to see how I created this painting? Then just hit play! 😊

The best part about painting is that you don’t need very expensive materials to get started. Feel free to use whatever you have on hand and remember to just relax & have fun! Be as creative as you would like because the options on how your painting can turn out are endless.

*Helpful Tips*

Michael’s always has a coupon going on so make sure you download their app to save some money.

Once the painting is ready, peel the tape off slowly. The clip in the video is just sped up but I did make sure that I was careful when I was removing it.

Don’t worry if something does not look right once you peel the tape off. One cool thing about painting is that you can fix anything with more paint once the previous layer has dried.

The more layers of color the better. I know that I have applied enough paint layers when I can hold the canvas up to the light and no light shines through. So for me personally, each triangle got atleast 4-5 layers of paint but feel free to use as much or as little as you would like.

Thanks for tuning in and until next time loves…
