Welcome To Oasis Grill: A Black Owned Restaurant That Is Serving Up Amazing Comfort Food Right In The Middle Of The Neighborhood.

Update: Oasis Grill permanently closed in March of 2020

Hey everyone! So last week my friend Sharee and I got to check out and have a private dining experience at this new Black owned restaurant called Oasis Grill. I kept hearing so many great things about this place so I was pretty excited that I finally got a chance to try it.

We got to meet some members of the Oasis Grill staff and their executive chef Laurence Reynolds; better known as Chef Law. The hospitality here was amazing but the food though? Man oh man…

We tried items from their brunch and lunch menu and first up was their Oasis Seafood Grits. Ya’ll, they literally taste like an all access pass to Heaven. I’m very picky when it comes to grits but these were absolutely delicious! The seafood is super fresh, the grits are the perfect consistency, and Chef Law’s secret sauce just adds the perfect touch that ties the whole dish together.  Plus it’s topped with bacon and we all know that bacon makes everything better. =)

Next up, we have Lobster Tail Rockefeller which was also bomb!

There wasn’t anything left but a dream that once was lol Sharee and I tore this food UP!

We also got to try their Crabcake BLT as well. The ones closest to me know how much I LOVE crab cakes so this meal really brought the biggest smile to my stomach. All of the flavors really blended so well together within this dish. If you’re also a huge fan of crab cakes, then this is the dish that you would want to order. Oasis Grill also has The Best Damn Crabcake option as well.

It’s made of fresh jumbo lump crab (free from fillers) bacon, a cajun remoulade, lettuce, and tomato all on a toasted Brioche bun. It also comes with a side of house cut fries.

Lastly, we got to try their Cajun Chicken and Shrimp pasta.  The chicken and jumbo shrimp were seasoned to perfection and this dish had just the right amount of kick to it. If you’re a big pasta lover like myself, you will really enjoy this dish.pasta

I’m so glad I wore pants with some elasticity to this dinner because I was SO full when I left. I even got to take some food home with me so you already know that it made for a delicious lunch the next day.

If you haven’t been to Oasis Grill yet, I highly suggest that you check them out. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed and you will want to keep coming back for more. Thank you again to the Oasis Grill staff and to Chef Law for the amazing food, hospitality and for this dining experience.

Not only is their food amazing but so is the artwork that is displayed on their walls. All of the artwork is created by STL’s own Isreal King .
