Needing A Great Place To Go Munch For Brunch? Try SubZero

Welcome back my fellow foodies to another segment of What Erica Leigh Eats! Last weekend, I had a meeting over brunch and we wanted to make sure that wherever we went to that good food would be involved. I have never been to this restaurant prior but all of my friends have and they keep going back so I figured that there must be something awesome about this place and I wanted to give them a try. SubZero Vodka Bar is located here in St. Louis MO in the Central West End. When you walk in, it has a very cool and laid back type atmosphere with lots of seating all throughout the restaurant. Now let’s get to the good part…the food and drinks!

Now, breakfast food does hold a special place in my heart and especially when it comes to cereal. If you know me, you know that my all- time favorite cereal in the world is Cinnamon Toast Crunch and I will never get tired of eating it. So as I was looking through their menu, confusion began to set in because there was so many tasty options to choose from. Did I want pancakes? Or maybe an omelette? Biscuits and gravy sounds good but that bacon waffle also looks promising…hmmmm.

I just couldn’t decide. But then, the words “Cinnamon Toast Crunch Pancakes” stood out to me loud and clear on this menu & I instantly wanted to know more about it. Once I read the description, I knew then that was exactly what I wanted to order and here is what they look like. I mean..have you ever seen anything else more beautiful?

I also ordered a drink called Frozen Blueberry which has Smirnoff Blueberry Vodka, white cranberry juice, champagne, frozen blueberries in it and it is so tasty! I’m a lightweight when it comes to alcohol so this drink definitely had the right amount of kick in it for me.

This will not be my last time at SubZero for brunch and I will be back soon to try more of their tasty dishes from other parts of the menu as well.

Speaking of their menu, I really like how they have it set up. Everything is labeled and organized by categories and then sub categories which makes finding what you’re looking for that much easier in my opinion. There is nothing worse than not being able to find something on a menu due to it being all over the place and especially when you’re really hungry.

Our waitress Nicolette was super sweet and attentive, the prices are really reasonable and they made my first time experience there quite enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great spot for brunch, I would highly recommend this place. With their wide variety of food to choose from, SubZero has something that everyone can enjoy. From brunch, to dinner, or even just to grab a late night bite.. come down to 308 N Euclid Ave, St Louis, MO 63108 and tell them that Erica sent you. =)

Bon Appétit! And until next time loves..

XO

Erica Leigh
